A short story
This is my first time writing something outside of school, so i'm not going to write anything big; I haven't planned this, either. Just straight from my imagination.
Amy sat on the edge of a cliff in green hill zone, watching the beautiful sun set in the horizon. She stared into the magical sky as tears fell down her rosy cheeks.
"It's not fair," she whispered." Sonic will never love me as much as I love him. He always runs from me, I cant get close to him without him running away!" Amy wiped the tears from her eyes. She heard footsteps from behind her and turned to see shadow standing there behind her. She felt puzzled. Shadow is the type that hates everyone and everything; why would he care about her?
"Don't cry," He sat next to her on the cliff." Pretty girls shouldn't cry.Sonic doesn't know how lucky he is to have you in his life." Amy's face slowly glowed bright pink. Shadow is flirting with her! She couldn't believe it. It's not like Shadow to talk to girls like he had just talked to her.
"If I was a pretty girl, Sonic wouldn't run away from me." Amy's eyes filled with more sparkling tears."It's not fair..."
Shadow put an arm around her. It was starting to get cold now, and the sky was starting to darken;you could see some of the stars.
'If only she knew how I felt...' thought Shadow. He knew he had to tell her he loved her soon, but when?
"Amy...don't worry about Sonic. He is arrogant, selfish and ignorant. He can't see your true beauty because of that."
"Thank you, Shadow, you're a real friend...and you're right.Sonic can't see me because of his ignorance." Amy leant against Shadow, his warm fur against her dry, damp face. She smiled, and knew that somehow, at some point, everything is going to change.
